ASRS - Efficiency of the Eaton-Kenway mini-load
operation had deteriorated due to equipment obsolescence
and limited OEM support. Notably, the stackers had
obsolete horizontal and vertical positioning systems,
horizontal DC drives and motors. between on-board
controls and the off-board computer. |
Fiber and Textiles
Retrotech's equipment and control systems
have managed cans for spun materials, corrugated boxes
of spun material,
fiber rolls on mandrel and in cradle, and bales. Retrotech's
applied knowledge for material handling in fiber and
textiles covers all 20 years of company experience.

ASRS - The Burlington Industries Distribution
Center (BIDC), with a capacity of 129,836 rolled
fabric units, serves as a storage and distribution
facility for multiple divisions within the company
and throughout the day, BIDC receives orders from
the different divisions that have stored units in
the high-rise. |
Paper Products
Retrotech's designs and equipment have been
employed in supporting paper-manufacturing WIP, finished
goods storage as well
as printing operations for signature storage and assembly.
Work efforts have included moving entire ASRS from one
plant to another to continue the asset value for the
client. Retrotech's ACTIV product is particularly suited
to high
density, large capacity lineal foot storage of laminated
and non-laminated paper rolls.

Georgia
Pacific - Georgia-Pacific’s existing system
handled storage of finished paper products for the
corporation, and served as a buffer between production
and shipping. Retrieved loads were placed by a onto
stacker cranes. |

Stora
Enso - The ACTIV input points consist of a short
input conveyor, a roll sizing station, and a bar code
reader. The ACTIV receives directly from in-floor on-the-bilge
roll conveyors. As the rolls move toward ACTIV’s
vertical transfer lift (VTL), they are scanned and
size-checked to validate the roll dimensions and reconcile
the roll with the host as a valid input. |
Pharmaceutical
Retrotech has delivered systems and software
to assure that pharmaceutical finished goods such as over
the counter
tablets; ethical products and WIP raw materials can be
stored and tracked in compliance with FDA operations. Complete
re-vamp of pharmaceutical pick lines and finished goods
shipping have been repeatedly and accurately delivered
through client operations by Retrotech software and material
tracking control. HABA storage of WIP & Finished Goods
is also managed today by Retrotech's ASRS equipment control
systems.
